Fall Fundraising 2008
We're currently organizing phone help for our upcoming Fund drive which will run from September, 15 through October, 26. If you would like to come down and lend a hand to our efforts we'd welcome the opportunity to have you join us! May 18th Elections Bring New Leadership
As we enter a new year ( our elections of new directors as of 18 May 08) a new sense of purpose and optimism has arisen.
With new leadership and a firm commitment to truly being a bottoms up, member controlled organization, we look forward to engaging volunteers in areas not only for benefits and events but more importantly, we need the expertise of people with professional experience in communications and fund raising.
Please consider sharing your knowledge with us to insure the existence of the only alternative voice in our area. Remember we are based on free speech and community service.

Saturday March 8th: Volunteer Appreciation & Open House
Volunteer Appreciation and Open House Party!
Jo Williamson is performing live on WPKN Saturday March 8th at 1PM. Listeners are invited to a reception beginning at 12 noon where we will serve refreshments. Jo will perform live in our "living room" studio at 1PM.
This event is free and open to all listeners, and those interested in volunteering at WPKN, as part of our Volunteer Appreciation Saturday. Come, tour the studios, meet our on air staff, and sign up to help with our spring fund raising or other activities.
